A strong wind blows of the coast and dark clouds capture the skies as far as the eye can see. Large dark waves crash into land with the promise of nothing but destruction and a desire to take all they can back to the deep. Eorzea is a dangerous place and all too many find they have no where to turn to and no one they can rely on. We welcome you here to the Lighthouse and hope that by helping you find a place here, friends, and family, that you in turn will be a light for another to find their way.

*Skaenmoen walks into the local taverns, slums, and guildhalls throughout Eorzea and nails a simple parchment to the walls. It reads as such*
Dear Citizens of Eorzea,
I am looking for those who would cast off the darkness of not only Eorzea but themselves and search for a better way. I call you to the Lighthouse.
The focus behind the Lighthouse is a simple one, but one that I fear is all too often looked over in these dark times. Simply put, if we want to change the world in which we live in then we must first become that change ourselves. The world is full of those who would take the easy path and sacrifice morals for what they deem is the practical solution. Good deeds are bought and sold through gil or worse and all around those in need suffer for it. I call upon those who would rise up and become a light to the citizens of Eorzea. I call upon those who seek true redemption for dark deeds of the past. I call upon those who would be brave enough not only to fight for what they believe in but to defend those who can offer nothing in return.
If you have the fortitude to stand against the rising tide and the will to hold on to your morals when the world demands you lay them down for an easier way, then come to the Lighthouse. Come see me and together we shall do all we can to guide the people of Eorzea to a safe port.

OOC:
As many of you may know, Skaenmoen is a seeker of peace in a very troubled world and she has searched for a way to help find a way to heal those in need. As such I have decided to start a heavy rp based FC that is dedicated to doing good in the world. Once we have a fair population base I plan to put my 20+ years of roleplaying to use for events and storylines that revolve around helping those around Eorzea, as well as my experience as a raid healer to tackle end game battles as a FC. This will of course mean dealing with the threats to the realm, such as the Primals and the Empire through FC dungeon runs and raids, but also in little ways that build community like the Roegadyn get together I held. Although we will welcome characters with a dark past they must be on the path to redemption, which could be fun to rp in and of itself. All members should be good at heart and have an honest desire to become something more than someone who is in it for the gil.
