I not post here very often, so please do excuse me for that.
Anyway, I thought I would post here in regard to a few specific types I am looking for to engage in RP. I would like to build a small group of mercenary/adventuring types who will undertake all manner of dangerous missions. This would involve IC excursions into actual dungeons and whatnot. I already have a few IC adventures in mind, I just need to build the team and get the introductory RP out of the way.
Now, when RPing in the dungeons we would most likely not RP them as being what they are in the technical sense of the game's mechanics, we can make them whatever we need them to be at the time. Old ruins currently infested by a violent gang of bandits, for example. So, for example, for RP purposes Sastasha would not be what it is in the story mode of the game, we would just be using it to serve as a backdrop for the RP. It could be a den of thieves, a hideout for a syndicate, whatever. Does that make sense?
This RP has a definite mercenary/tomb raiding/treasure hunting theme to it. The team I want to assemble would do plenty of their own missions but they would also be available for hire by an outside party. I want it to be a versatile team, one capable of tackling a wide variety of obstacles, so fighters and mages alike are welcome.
I am also looking for someone to serve as a mentor type figure to my character, someone who can teach him more about combat. Particularly hand-to-hand combat and swordplay.
