Background

White Wolf Syndicate is still fairly new on the blackmarket scene, their operations only having taken part in Ul'dah so far... they seek to broaden the connections they hold with other company's and individual merchants alike.

This is a chance for White Wolf to get involved withroleplayer/other companies, we're looking to form ties so that events of various sizes can roll out involving interaction between the companies instead of putting a focus on NPC interaction.Â Also, itsanother gathering, why not right? hah.

Event features

Making connections

Mingling with one another to create connections and hopefully make the blackmarket, or generally shady(in a good way) side of the community thrive. It's always nice to meet new people right?

Brawling

A gathering between merchants is all well and good, but a good brawl on the side for entertainment is always welcome. There will be a designated pit for one-on-one bare-fist fights between volunteering competitors. No use of aether, no weapons, just brute force and fun.

Of course, there may be a lack of people wanting to step up,so White Wolf will be offering up 100,000 Gil in prize money for those who manage to stay in the ring, and beat 3consecutive challengers before exiting.
This prize gil will be split amongst the ones who achieve such a feat at the end of the event. Yes, that means if you are the only one to beat 3 others in row, you get the whole prize.

- Rules for brawling -

IC

No weapons
No use of aether
No armor (Including Jackets etc. It's shirts and such, or nothing at all)
No restrictions on use of body

OOC

Fights are done through Rolling (Rolz.org so rolls can be seen)
Fights -can- be done without rolling, as long asboth competitors agree
Argueing over the results of a rolled fight will get you a warning, 2nd offense and that's you're brawling rights gone.
Argueing over the results of a non-rolled fight will get you no warnings, but will mean you have to roll any fights from now on (both people involved, this rule only applies if arguing is done in public... between friends in whisper, feel free)

Gambling

Of course, with merchants and shady people crowding around a good brawl... it would be dumb not to expect a little gambling wouldn't it? Since that's the case, White Wolf will be running a gambling service for spectators.

It is yet to be decided if real Gil will be accepted in the betting process. -IF- it is, there will be two different brackets. Real/RP. There will also be a 500 gil per match limit due to the risk of destroying White Wolfs reserves.

Bar

There will definitely be alcohol at the gathering... right now it's looking like a casual NPC run bar kind of deal due to lack of a location that fits everything we're trying to do with event. And the lack of staff that could man the bar. (Having more players to interact with is always nice)

If any free companies that run bar nights would like to step up to fill this spot, then you're more than welcome to. However, do take into account that White Wolf wouldn't hire anyone who doesn't fit the whole shady thing. Law abiding people and all that.

Location

The Location hasn't been determined yet, either the Silver Bazaar in Thanalan, or x22,y12 in Central Thanalan. Any suggestions that may fit everything we're looking to do would be welcome.

Time & Date

Unknown, We're looking to accommodate as many people as possible. As such, I'd appreciate those interested to let their availability be known in any posts you make on this thread. We're looking at doing it within the next 2 weeks however.
