G'day, fellows that play roles!

I've recently started playing FFXIV and am enjoying it muchly, I have a question regarding the Miqo'te. Would it be possible for one of their species to have been raised by adoptive parents from another species? I'm yet to solidify my character's story so I'm exploring possibilities.

Thanks for your time, guys!Cactuar

Just as possible as any other race. A lot of people go this route if they're not too keen on the tribal lore, which, at least in the case of Seekers, can be understandable.

I personally know a player who did exactly that with her Miqo'te, so absolutely yes.

"But in the laugh there was another voice. A clearer laugh, an ironic laugh. A laugh which laughs because it chooses not to weep."

Yup! Lots of Miqo'te are raised by adoptive families because people don't like the lore.

Characters: M'sato Tia (Lost Soul Seeker), Soren Walker (Ishgardian Midlander Pilot), Solomon Laguerre (Elezen Mercenary/Bar Manager)

Send me a PM if you feel like RP!

My main is a Seeker who was raised by a Hyur mother. Never caused any issue. Go for it!

If Minfilia can, you can.

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." -- N.C.
