As far as the contest winners go, they're pretty cool, but I hope the male winner gets added for females eventually, as I think it would look nice on them.

It's nice to see SE trying to throw a bit of a bone to those who wanted more "curly" hairstyles, even if they're not overwhelmingly curly. But, yeah... That 'fro is just.. Ugh.

I'm just going to sit here and twiddle my thumbs until the contest winners' hairstyles are made a thing in-game.

Those are the new hair styles? I can't say I'm happy with them. Especially the afro. It just doesn't fit with the game's over-all aesthetic. Sad

They've had afros in Final Fantasy games before. It's a serious hairstyle in real life. It fits the aesthetic fine I think, plus it's unisex and the only hairstyle being added that is truly curly (the two long styles are really just wavy) . It probably won't be everyone's taste but especially with a thing like hairstyles you can't really please everyone, I'm just glad they're adding more and this is just one batch before the next wave that includes contest winners.
