Saraj Malqir recently showed me this link to a D&D 5th Edition Homebrew that ports Final Fantasy job classes into the game.  It's actually really well done and I was verily impressed. Â
I've actually rolled Syranelle as a Level 1 Arcanist (Nymian Scholar) in hopes of, perhaps, doing something with it in-game. Â I'm not quite sure yet, I haven't GMed in 5th Edition, I've only ever played as a character. Â I might look into modding some of the modules we have at home for some experimental play. Â
I thought it was something fun and interesting for the D&D junkies out there that might be interested! Â Have fun with it and share your builds, if you like! Â ^_^
