I'm tempted to make a whole new character using my own existing one but with a different glamour set, complete with her own skills, personality and backstory. I thought it would be a fun idea to have Chiyo have her one look-alike running around and maybe even may a side-plot out of it. I'm thinking of either having her just come from a foreign land or even another world, though the latter might be a stretch.Â I can understand the idea might be a bit taboo rp wise, that's why I wanted to know what you guys think. Tongue

Of course, this would essentially be an npc.

From another world is essentially at the far end of rp acceptability, though certainly there are people who would accept it, and there is some stuff in the game to support it.

It's really up to you how accepted you want the character to be. If it's a small group of friends go nuts. If you're looking for a wider spectrum of rp than you'd probably want to keep her origins a bit safer.

I've played characters with strange origins before that certainly bend the lore, but I always feel out the people I'm rping with before exploring those sorts of things.

Well, if you want to go with more acceptable plot you could go with the 'stalker who wants to murder and take over her life' RP. It's not so realistic, per say, but with more scary.

The from another world concept is a bit of a stretch for me as I'm sure it would be for a lot of the users here on the forums. Could always have her come from a far away land and have the two bump into each other some day.

I'm pretty sure this is possible with "glamours". NPCs use the stuff to look like other people all the time.

Aysun has a doppleganger. She was part of a plot a couple years ago, and I've kept her as an alt. She's actually just her (not known) half-sister, so the similarities are explained by that, rather than glamours or anything.
