Hi All~

I'm looking for some people who would like to help me out with some character development, and are open to exploring the consequences of their actions.Â

A little bio for Franz, in case you haven't seen him hanging around the Quicksand.

He is Garlean. Due to the war, he's managed to get a glamour for the third eye, and visually, looks like any other HyuranÂ Highlander.
I RP him as naturally grumpy, making the effort to be more friendly. As some have seen, it may be more of a facade.
He is morally ambiguous. Talking about murder and death is just as much casual conversation as say, the weather.Â
He was experimented on, and does have aetheric ability. For RP's sake, he generally sticks to physical combat with an axe, but could hold his own against an arcanist in terms of knowledge. So far, the only thing he's really made use of is going in/out of the aether, like using it as a storage box, or using one aetherite to teleport to another.

A little bit about what I'm looking for the RP (completely subject to change)

I'm looking for someone to find out his secret/break down the cover.Â Possibly someone who'd hold said knowledge against him.Â
If there are people with Garlean scientists as their characters/alts, maybe some research onto what was done to him, or where it could lead. (I've some ideas for this, but they're up in the air). Or perhaps maybe the lab that had left him to die (backstory thing) finds out he's still alive and decides to do something about it? (Goor or bad)
Maybe some illegally filed paperwork, to get him to pass as an adventurer

Ultimately, I'm looking to supplement all the tavern RP and plot leeching with an ongoing arc of my own. If anyone is interested, please let me know here, or in-game to Franz Renatus, and we can discuss details!

I'm typically available around 4PM-11PM PDT (11PM-6AM GMT), and nearly all of the weekend. Both forum Â and in-game RP are fun for me, and a mix is fine too!

Information is part of Zhi's bag. Major drawback is that she's locked to Limsa. . .still, if no one else better placed steps up, I'd be more than happy to help!

Aya could be of quite a bit of use in a story like that... but I kind of like her thinking about him as a bum :-]

I could tell you that Faye and I both have characters that are Garlean, characters that hate Garleans,and characters that would be more than willing to further carry out the experiments on him. I at least would be willing to get involved and help you on any of those fronts if that's something you want to discuss more in private. Just hit me up in a message here if you're interested and maybe we can toss some ideas around Smile

Hey! Kage did -nothing- to raise Franz's ire but noooo Franz had to start picking on him, pushing him off the railing, and throwing axes at him!

Perhaps I'll have to get him to visit Limsa one of these days. He's never been in the city himself, but the local castrum if it existed pre-Calamity is certainly a hook. Or maybe we could have a run-in at the Hawker's Alley that leads to something?

Maybe she'll just pretend to not know? Or better, Aya can blackmail him! Maybe he'll have to be a bouncer, or work in the back kitchen. /jokingbutnotcompletely

But isn't getting Kage in trouble almost a life goal of his? And he only pushed Kage off once! There was a lot of axe swinging though~Â Things have beenÂ /way/Â to peaceful. I mean, he'sÂ talkingÂ to people. A lot. Hopefully, it's showing a couple loose screws.Â

But it's true! I'd say he values their friendship. But I mean, unless he somehow messes up Roen or Gharen's life, I think that friendship is prolly safe. Then again, living with Natalie has got to make things complicated lol.
