Gil spammers and those who are douchebags OOC. I won't blacklist someone IC unless they're being -really- obscene.

I only have one person on my blacklist.
I try to regard things realistically, and if Iron doesn't like someone, or their issues I just have him walk away. He is big enough that I feel like he can handle annoyances and drama okay. My only exception is if something OOCly happens that I cannot look past. Disrespect and abusive behavior OOC will always be my very hard and fast limit when it comes to people I Rp with. Otherwise I'll deal with anyone. |

I don't usually blacklist/ignore RPers. It will take me a lot to use that feature. I use it mostly for gold spammers and griefers. I will blacklist a RPer if they border on being trollish or if they are offensive.

If a roleplayer is extremely away from the lore/game setting (Like roleplaying a mithra) and they take up a lot of emote space around where I am, then I can consider blacklisting them for the duration of the RP session - Unblacking them again afterwards, I don't have anything against them as a mmorpg player, but when we're out where my character can't interact with someones character anyways then I would honestly rather have them on the blacklist so I don't get annoyed/confused/whatever.Â
Otherwise, I blacklist people only when they are blatant griefers (this includes trolling by pretending to roleplay whilst doing things to bait a bleed-reaction) and otherwise when we're talking about harrassment and stalking, both of which I've experienced in the game. When it comes to my FC, I tend to avoid calling for everyone to ignore someone unless they're a griefer. Even in cases of harassment and stalking, I would rather trust people to make what they perceive as the right call, however I always reserve the right as an FC leader to tell people to politely get uninvolved with our events if they have been causing trouble. |

I don't use it very often. The only time I use it is when spammy things happen that I can't get away from. Like I'm RPing somewhere and someone stands nearby and spams chat with /dance. Usually I don't RP where this often happens so it's just a matter of moving to a different part of the city.
That said.... I wish blisting someone would remove their sound effects too. :c For all those people that insist on standing there and spamming holy/whatever the dragoon jump is called. UGH! I'll use it on spam tellers. The ones that send you an advertisement every 2 mins. The ones that don't retell or retell every 20 mins or so are usually safe. I have yet to blist an RPer in this game. Tho I have in past games and they've all been over IC actions being taken OOCly and the HIGH DRAMA that ensued. Tho most got themselves off the list after things had calmed down. |

Your RP would have to be pretty awful, and you'd have to be a pretty obnoxious RPer to boot in order for me to blacklist you.
Fortunately I've yet to meet anyone that bad, though let's be honest: it's bound to happen eventually lol For now the only people on my blacklist are tell spammers, which is kinda sad because some of them had legit, IC-sounding names, which made me think they were former RPers who have had their accounts hacked :-( |

I don't blacklist. I think I'd only make an acception for sexual harassment, but I don't blacklist generally. There's really not a need to in my eyes.

Gold sellers, trolls, spammers, antiRP griefers (those dickheads who will sit on you while you're RPing and dance and spam posts at and who don't stop after the first five minutes)...Those kind of things.
I'm only ever Blacklisted two RPers since being in this game and it's been for OOC issues to the point where I don't want anything to do with them or give them any kind of excuse to contact me or be a part of the RP I do. And it took a LOT for me to get to that point even then. Very occasionally I have put someone on a temporary BList period for a night or two if they can't talk to me rationally or respectfully. After I take them off they apologize and everything is fine once they see that I'm genuinely serious. For the issue in general? I say to each their own. Some have more tolerance then others. |

If the character's deleted, their name changes to (Deleted) in the blacklist. I have around 74 names and I routinely prune deleted names from it because I know I'll need the space for more. If by that you mean that they stop using the account to spam, then likely as not. I'd rather not take the chance and I've yet to see anyone I'd truly blacklist prior to this. Well, other than that one pug last night. |

I blacklist gold-sellers asap and only delete them from the list if they are actually deleted.
I do have others on my list; RP-policers, folks who have said racial/sexist/homophobic/transphobic BS, and creepers who get way too comfortable in whispers with me. Only takes once for it, 'cause I do not have time to deal with or tolerate nonsense in my pretendy-fun-time. |

I don't ever blacklist for IC reasons. Â IC reasons are IC, and should be addressed in character.
I do blacklist for OOC reasons. Â Gil spammers, griefers, or people I simply don't get along with OOCly that get on my nerves. Â I'm pretty slow with the last one, tho. |

Mostly I just blacklist gil-spammers who send unwanted /tells and shout in the cities.
There have been a couple little turds who got blacklisted for repeatedly starting or having weird or irrelevent conversations in /shout in various zones while I was trying to focus on RP. I often take them off blacklist after. In one instance I didn't (repeat annoyer). There is only one "RPer" that I blacklisted - someone that was briefly a member of our company and brought a lot of negativity and bad energy and caused a lot of problems to the point people from other servers were sending us messages after bad experiences with him in roulettes or such before we gave him das boot. What is frustrating is when others I associate do still interact IC as I only am privy to half the dialogue, but I've just been finding IC reasons to excuse myself from such situations (it's not difficult). I do wish they had a toggle [for the SFX in particular] for Holy, Ring of Thorns, etc. - when someone outside of your party casts them, in particular. I don't particularly mind the sound effects and I understand holyspam is necessary for certain things (love the holy visual, hate the audio) - but something about it pisses my dog off if the volume is above a certain threshold.
