I'll just... stick to WHM for T9, thanks. But for stuff that's actually challenging, solo healing parts of Turn 13 is always fun.

Well, with my alts I've been trying to speedrun 1-15/Out of City as fast as possible.

I have a horrible time (Around the 3 hour 30 minutes mark) because I tend to be distracted.

On Kell himself I don't think I do anything to be challenged - The lack of anything accessible for me without having to deal with the game's typical playerbase or that I haven't thoroughly smashed is kind of getting to me.

I wanted to run Ampador Keep with a tank, 2 heals (one WHM, one SCH), and a DPS once. I as all pumped thinking the SCH or WHM could hit cleric stance and DPS the hell out of things.

... The DPS was a major buzzkill, however, and it never happened. The sad part is he's from my FC.

What do you do for fun or to challenge yourself in this game outside of Progression Raiding, Tome capping stuff, or RP.

I'd totally do that AK run as a SCH or as a WHM or I can awesomely blow things up or hit them with my beautiful tanky self.

T13 is a lot of fun, we're figuring out divebombs atm.

I think the most unorthodox thing my group did was an all scholar Garuda EX way back when. Other than that I challenge myself by learning other classes usually.

He tried to do 1st Person walk but it became too much for him to handle and he nearly killed us so he stopped dat lol

Sometimes I make my way down to the local State-sponsored recreational marijuana distributatorium (I live in Washington, where such things are legal). Then, when I arrive back home and have enjoyed my purchases, I wander out into Western Thanalan and find a group of axebeaks. Something around the level 5-10 range. The most fun I've had in there was a 4-DPS Amdapor Keep, with me as DRG and a MNK-buddy swapping tank roles until the trash died. We were worried we'd fail on the final boss, but baiting out the tail swipe was enough to keep whoever was currently taking aggro alive.

Ironworks Magitek Rod get! And just need a Shonisaurus for my Of Dragons Deep title. Almost have all my pre-2.5 goals met.

Um, more fun side things to do. So this all started back in 1.0 days, but a few FC friends and I have a running gag where we'll try to get another party member killed during content. Now the rules are, you can't wipe your party and you only get points if the intended target dies. And it's a pretty hilarious game that we're pretty fond of.

A few examples:
Back in 1.0 times Cutter's Cry was an extremely difficult 8-man dungeon. So we were almost up to Chimera and there's this pull with 2 Pieste on crack that you normally slept and then booked it to the Chimera sandtrap and zoned. We had a person afk though so we were all staying put at the start of this room. But having a stroke of genius I stepped forward and aggro'd the pieste. My friends who I play this game with stepped forward like idiots (DRG and WHM) and proceeded to AoE, gaining hate. I ran back to the party and sat there and watched them get eaten alive by pieste and because they were the only two with hate, the pieste deaggro'd after they were full of DRG/WHM meat. 2 points for me.

Said DRG got me back in early 2.0's AK with the Tank Sacrifice method though. I had gotten all of them to safety into the last boss room but had died outside of Raise range (derp) so I had to run all the way back to die in the proper place. So I'm booking it back to the boss when my friend asks "You almost here?" and like an idiot I say "Almost." This fool triggers the cutscene for the last boss on purpose and freezes me outside with 20 angry mobs on my tail. Needless to say... 1 point for the DRG.

One of my FC mates is determined to get me killed in content that we are super duper serious about (Farms).

When we did the 6 tank 2 heals T6, he deliberately didn't break my vines.

"Yeah I let Kage die"
"Wat! WRY?"
"Cause you won't marry me!"
"T_T"
"Well, also cause you let me die with ballistics."
"T_T"

Pssst I'd save you if you timed your positionals so you weren't a yalm+away fucking it up so I either can't save you in time or you mess up whether or not I can check fast if you're in the circles :c JK I love you.
