Thought this was pretty neat to organise for roleplaying. So you can basically make your RP events with this thing and leave it open to see who will attend. You will need to log-in to your account with Lodestone to create an Event. It's pretty much like Party-Finder but a lot more open to various different details.

Kewl! I was at an event where one person turned up and you could feel the worry in the organisers. It did pick up and become a great event, but not knowing if any would come is not a great position to be in.

This could be a great way to get some idea of interest. Running events takes a lot of preparation and it is a shame when people don't show

Holy shit.

"Privacy Setting 'All' : Your event can be viewed and joined by players on all worlds."

This can potentially serve as a cross-server Party Finder.

Huh. This has some potential for FCs that don't wanna use their own hosted sites or something along those lines. Though I'm a little confused. Does this allow people from other servers to join in on hosted events, or is it purely for a planning thing?

If it's just for planning, that's still super useful--just less so. If it means people from other servers can join a party with you, well... That could be a lot more interesting.

The wording "joined by players on all worlds," in addition to the Lodestone graphic they have showing a Shiva EX party recruitment page, leads me to believe that this might actually let you join in as opposed to merely plan... but I might be wrong.

The infrastructure for cross-server duties already exists by way of Duty Finder, after all.

I spent part of the day playing with this. Also noticed it reminded me of a phone app. Maybe they are getting ready to launch that FC app they were going on about. Maybe the features will be more extensive.
