Tavern night at the Grandfather Clock! Staff and students of St. Reinette's University gathered together at the school's privately owned tavern; to enjoy food, alcohol; and musical entertainment provided by Sulahn Da'assan. They celebrated the moonfire faire; by shooting off fireworks together in the yard. Everyone enjoyed themselves and thankfully didn't lose any fingers, toes, or eyes in the process.

Combat class with Von'ni Sayrillont! Taking a trip to the central shroud, the class learned the importance of weapon maintenance, and spent the lesson sharpening; and cleaning their weapons.



Afterwards; Higura and professor Jordan Kennedy scouted out both Tam-Tara Deepcroft, and Haukke Manor, looking for suitable locations to deploy a device developed by the R&D team to help the school defend itself from any troublemakers.

 
The two need seek out the assistance of the Twin Adders to gain entry to the manor; a task they would need save for another day...

It was friday, same as every week, Arcanima class with Cirina Malqir occured. The class focused on the application and usage of enchanted ink and how it could be used in a variety of ways. Namely its usage in grimoires; but also its use in hiding text in a book, or how it has been used to conceal treasure maps in the past.

Captain Jordan Kennedy taught students the art of traditional Highlander Wrestling. A sport that involved a lot of grappling. Those who showed up were pitted against one another in various match ups; and everyone had a fairly fun time.



Physical education class occurs every Sunday at 4 PM EST/ 9 PM London time. All are welcome to attend.

All Saints Wake Masquerade Ball; as hosted by Saint Reinette's university and orphanage, occurred today. Invitations were sent out to many companies, and the school announced the Ball to the public. As such, there were many people coming and going, with at one point there being over SIXTY guests! Needless to say, our headmistress; and her staff were a little overwhelmed, but took charge of the event, playing music, dancing with folks, and hosting an event giveaway. Guest appearances by Winds of Hope, and the dastardly Spriggan Squad.

Today at Saint Reinette’s University, Higura Gainishigi put on a dramatic stage performance of Oengus and Ozma - A Magi Tale. Coaxing two very unhappy Xaela into the performace; the show was about a Black Mage named Oengus, and his plan to use a nameless voidsent to assassinate the High Magi of Nym. The voidsent refused to do his biddng, and made haste for Vylbrand; in an attempt to warn the Magi of the coming threat of Ozma.

Critics acclaimed:

“I haven’t had a laugh that good before.”

“… It was a comedy.. and a tragedy, right?“

Thursday's lesson was Literature class with Professor Amelia Braddock. The lesson focused on a popular piece of Ishgardian literature known as “Sammioux and Cossette.” A tale about two star crossed lovers from different high houses. The lesson was an introduction to famous literary works as a whole, and had the biggest lesson turn out in ages. A whole twelve students were in attendance!
Good thing we invested in more desks!
Next week, the lesson will focus on other great literature from Ishgard, written by the same author.

Recent news: 
Saint Reinette's University and Orphanage opens a second building; a Jazz Lounge by the name of The Grandfather Clock.



Every wednesday at 4 PM EST / 9 PM GMT in Lavender Beds, ward 2, plot 54.

A warm, relaxed environment, friendly staff, and stage performances.

It's right down the road from the main University building in plot 33 too!

We're hiring staff for the Grandfather clock, as well as always seeking staff and students for the University itself; so feel free to contact myself or the others listed in the opening post of this thread!

Saint Reinette's University starts Season 4 today.

Divided into seasons based upon the free company main story questline; a season entails a section of story that plays alongside classes and school events. Season four is the beginning of the technical third year of school.

Classes being hosted so far are:
Combat with Renlador Nevay
Animal Husbandry with Panelle Siobahn.
Arcanima with Kinono Kino.

Class times and dates will be posted where and when I get time; but the most likely place will be on our discord, so if you'd like an invite; ask.

Changes for season 4.
1. School building redesigned. (you can view the gallery of changes here)
2. Added a simulation chamber for VR combat scenarios based on Allagan technology.
3. Planned groundwork for upcoming school events. (Plays and dances mainly.)

The university is putting on a school play in early September; and we're taking a poll on what the contents of the theater performance will be. The poll will close on the 17th, giving everyone plenty of time to vote and make sure the show they want to see is put on.

Once voting completes, we'll put out a bunch of advertisements for the date of the play, and encourage everyone to come see its performance!
