let me be upfront, i do NOT want to split up the community further from gilgamesh/balmung. but with all the problems with the servers, many of us just cant get in. but until we get server transfers, is anyone willing to rp on lamia for the meantime? i have heard of faerie being a "colony" for the community, but some have rolled on lamia and have progressed to a good point. But i will say this again, this is only TEMPORARY. I do plan to transfer to gilgamesh/ balmung when the chance arises. The free company i joined was origonally planned for gilgy, but with the launch problems, have branched out to lamia. The company does have a rp group. So if anyone is on lamia and wishes to rp. I'll be there.

my characters name is Orio Luxceon, in case anybody wants to search it. But yeah, just a temp thing :/ let me know what you guys think

My husband and I are on Lamia and would be interested in having some contact with other RPers. Feel free to toss me on your friends list there. I might be afk on and off during the day (I have a 6 month old baby to take care of) but we do play periodically as we have time (aka when she's napping).

Being realistic here, it's highly unlikely that new characters are going to be allowed on Balmung or Gilgamesh even after server maintenance tonight. I could be wrong, but from what I've read, they're not opening locked servers so much as making it so more people who already -have- characters there can log on at once, and they are also making new servers for new players/characters.

Transfers later this month may allow some of us to get on Gilgamesh or Balmung, but I'm going to have to say, if they are pay-to-transfer, many people will probably take a pass on that and stick with whatever server they managed to land on.

So, that happens to be Lamia for me. I just didn't want to wait a week, or weeks, to be able to play. I tried getting on Gilgamesh and Balmung several times, but to no avail.

If any other RPers are stuck on Lamia with me, for the time being or for good, and would like to start an IC linkshell just for some RP derps, I'd be more than willing to help out or join one. Just PM me here, reply to the thread or shoot me a /tell in game (same name as my forum name here).

This might be a bit late, but I'm keen. Wanted to get into the RP side of this game for the past few days but with all the server problems... you know what I'm talking about. I'll create a new character to log on to Lamia with, so I'll keep an eye out for you.

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you, trying to get onyo balmung or gilgamesh with no success so far. I'm new to the RP community but have spent some of the past couple of days reading up on the multitides of advice on this site. I'll be playing a new character, so he will he fresh off the proverbial boat, but if your willing to meet up in game and IC, then let me know via PM or reply.

If you guys aren't able to get on Bal or Gil (which I reaaally advise waking up early today to see if cc is open on both.) Then maybe Faerie might be a good idea due to a lot of folk setting up there already.

Both fortunately and unfortunately, Â I live in Australia, so the maintenance is scheduled to end at 8 pm tonight. Maybe I'll have some luck.

At the time of this writing, both Gilgamesh and Balmung are open.
