When I am RPing I am almost always in or near the Quick Sand (since it is Workplace, home, and sometimes fun place for Aya ).  It would be nice to get to see you, and welcome Faolan for a bite to eat! There's an event tonight, Gus Pumpkinweed's Spooky Thirteenth, in Thanalan easily within reach of a low level character in Ul'dah!  Its mostly silliness and fun, but it might be something to check out tonight :-] Welcome again to Balmung!
