You also have a character that can travel and get to places. I know that can go along with leveling, per say, but this game holds a lot of attunements where the phrase 'level up' doesn't give it enough credit to the time sink for areas, mounts, pets, jobs, etc. I would definitely play along with that and enjoy it.
