I don't think you would! A lot of people say they would die. If this is going off of the Sword Art Online idea, it's quite simple to 'stay alive' if you provide a service to everyone on the game by crafting, ect.
Believe me, I'd feel odd being reformatted to look a bit like my sexy self as a Lalafell. I'd finally have an idea what Willow Ufgood felt like being called 'peck' first hand!
I'd hire you in my pumpkin business and we'd supply the adventurer's with the right stuff to make it out there!
