But I feel sexuality is important to a character.
Like what's been said already. People have sexualities, why shouldn't characters?Â
My character Zana Moui is Bisexual, prefers females over guys. Truthfully I've been.. Nervous to ERP with Zana, cause of two reasons. One I am inexperienced. Two. Most of whom want to engage in ERPs just kinda.. Well it's either "Hi I just met you, and this is crazy, but let's make love." or "Hi, you're cute. -Two dates later- Let's make love."Â
It feels.. Unorganic to me.
I dunno.Â
I'll probably get used to it as I practice.
Yeah some characters are willing to have those sort of casual encounters as I mentioned with my character Kylar, but if it does not fit the your character, it does not fit her and should could be polite and nice while declining or just tell them to shove off!Â
That being said, Don't feel forced to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. If Zana does pick up a guy for the night and you just fade it to black, that should be okay. RP is a story its more about how actions affect characters than the actual actions themselves in my opinion. Character development and all that. Hope this made sense, I'm on like two hours of sleep.
I normally say In Character that Zana isn't ready for sex, since she requires a good emotional connection to the person to even consider having sex.Â
And I've been er.. "Practicing" (Like my friend and I don't consider it to be a 'canon' RP.) with a friend to improve how I write ERPs and stuff.Â
I don't have a problem with character's whom are sexually active, most of my friends who I RP with have sexually active characters. ^^ (I should stop cause I am rambling like a fool.)
I
