I believe I know what the new unannounced job will be. And all we have to do is look at the current clues:
Agent!
Primary Weapon - Guns
Armor - probably limited to the same type of clothing as rogues
Abilities:
- The first clue we got was YoshiP wearing a 007 T-Shirt, saying it is a big clue to what the new job is. 007 = James Bond. And James Bond the character, is a Secret Agent.
- The second clue was that the job would not be something people are expecting. So far people are saying they are expecting it to be one of the following: Chemist, Gun Mage, Gunner, or Musketeer. Since those are the most popular choices and YoshiP and the developers still say it is something not expected, we can cross all 4 of those off the list.
- The third clue, was from this interview. "•If you look at FF series of the past carefully you can imagine what it will be"

- Escort - Probably will be a buff like Protect
- Flourish - Increases damage
- Fawn - Healing over time ability
- Enchant - Buff ally
- Interrogate -Â Shows a target's treasure, items, and gil. Also reveals invisible enemies and traps.
- Succor - Healing ability that also works as a cleanse (Not to be confused with the scholar version)
- Impassion - Grants a berserk buff to ally
- Reckless Abandon - Damage ability that also slows target
