I... just used one of the templates (which was later taken down, I think? It was there when I made it and then gone when I checked the templates list later) and sorta bumbled my way into what I have now. I'd love to do more, but I'm afraid of deviating from the format and breaking something.
The template I'm using is a provided service on the wiki site. That is not my work.
