I'm forever and always a Roegadyn, because it's such a unique race...and in-game it ended up also being remarkably unique. That said, even with the explanation of the Hellsguard, I still have that old tired trope of the big beefy races being the big beefy jobs. As such, Steel will always be the heavy hitter or tanker classes. It's a mental limitation that I just can't seem to shake.
My one alt is an Elezen, again because it seemed unique enough in-game once more and I'm just intrinsically drawn to races that are generally less selected. This time she's a little bit more flexible in terms of makeup--she can be a wily wood elf archeress, or a wise magics caster or--as I'm writing her--a lithe and swift hand-to-hand fighter.
