Welcome to the Free Company of Artificers, Inventors, and Manufacturers! We are a slice-of-life crafting-and-trade FC open for recruitment. We welcome light-to-medium role-players interested in the exciting day-to-day activities of joining a business in Eorzea.
We recently restructured our IC format to promote further RP, and emphasize that we are a partnership of small businesses and individual craftspeople coming together under one roof in the name of camaraderie, innovation, and profit!
Your character may be involved casually, as a member, or more seriously as a Team Leader or run their own business within AIM. ICly, we also offer classes and skill development for new crafters and inventors.

IC Structure: Within the AIM hall, you can find teams and free individuals working together on short- and long-term projects. Any member may form a team, which may also hire employees from outside of AIM.

FC Recruitment Status: Open! Check out our website and take a look at a few of our RP logs to see what our RP style is like (it is fairly social and cooperative). Are we what you're looking for? Talk to one of our officers for a casual OOC interview. We are excited to have new members, and just want to make sure you are on board with our LGBT-friendly, warm, and cooperative spirit.
In the meantime, you are welcome to join our IC LS as soon as it makes sense for your character to do so, as we have many business associates and acquaintances on the channel. Send one of our officers a /tell, or stop by our house IC for some drop-in RP.
Events
Our RP events are very member-driven, and we encourage FC members to make use of our calendar to organize their own events. We typically host 1-2 RP events per week, many of which are open to the public. Check out the calendar on our website for the schedule!

Who We Are, Out of Character
Our OOC FC channel is friendly and helpful. We welcome LGBTA folks, and don't allow homophobia, transphobia/transmisogyny, sexism, or racism in our channel. We enjoy being silly and having fun, and especially helping members with PVE content. We are not focused on endgame raiding, but are happy to do dungeons, trials, pvp, and raids together. We especially want to mentor crafters and gatherers, helping you gear and progress in your Discipline of Hand and Land classes. We typically have 4-8 players online at a given time, and we use Skype and our forums to chat and RP out of game.
