It does my heart good to see someone get the nerve to say what desperately needs to be said about this topic. Having played for so long in games with idle-boot as standard, I never really grasped how this difference affects FFXIV.
Of course, my own beef is seeing these long-term AFKers occupying prime RP spaces - many of them deliberately and with apparent trolling purpose - and clustering around the summoning bell or other key clickables en masse.
