One thing I would point out is that 1.0 had a shockingly small population of players. Even many people on the RPC whose accounts hail from the heady days of 2010ish often didn't stay for very long (I know I didn't). While legacy servers do have players and characters from 1.0 on them, the people new for 2.0 vastly outnumber them. So, even if you were worried about legacy players (which I wouldn't be; all the ones here are very nice
), due to sheer numbers, they don't have a disproportionate influence.
