Wouldn't it simply remain the same? As dated content?
I figured our Au Ra would pop up wherever an older race might, depending on their class, and simply progress through the current series of main story quests as any other character might, their race not being factored / ignored until they reach the Heavensward questlines. Similar to if you had a pandaren in World of Warcraft from 15 to 89.
