From what I've read, the best time to slip in is Wednesday through Friday, in the small hours of the morning. I personally had a character on another server and after paying an $18 transfer fee, I switched to Balmung with no problem. It's more expensive but more certain. Let's give the bards something to sing about... Specifically, my wiki.
