While most people on the site are open and welcoming, that doesn't mean we aren't weary of people we haven't RPed with before. We check for things like grammar, general lore knowledge and the chemistry of the characters that go with your own.
Really, a lot of things factor into if we decide to RP with someone. While we are all open to new ideas and concepts and testing the waters with others, that's not a guarantee we can become permanent roleplay buddy's.
In general, it's just a misconception of a misconception. We also have to take into consideration the amount of time we have available to RP as well as who we want to spend our time with. We all already have pre-existing relationships, plots and other such stuff that we are involved in, so its a time issue as well. Its just a lot of different factors that go into it.
But that's terribly off-topic, back to the main point.
I still state that there is an existing EU community here. While they are not as unified as the NA community, they do exist. Just gotta look hard and dig deep. Hey on the downside, if you don't find an EU group, you could always make you're own. Nothings stopping you.
PS: Everyone has a different RP style and how they enjoy/view/want to RP. OOC chemistry is always a factor too.
