Inessa rubs the back of her head before grabbing a small folder off of her desk from right next to her and began combing through the files of various suitors that were allegedly close to Emily. There could have been a possibility that the murderer was an unrequited, angry man or a man who was refused by her. If that were the case, the murderer could have taken Emily's life out of desire but Inessa had the biting feeling that two theories of an Assassin and an angry suitor did not add up.
The reason it did not add up is because that none of the suitors had any of the skills that were exhibited by the assassin written down in their files. This was the work of a professional, not some common street thug with gut's.
Of course there was the possibility that the records could have been altered, but then again, that would take more work than needed. Not to mention there would have been noticeable signs of document alteration if that were the case. Still, Inessa thought that these men would need to be interrogated and examined. Just as a precaution so Inessa could safely rule them out as the assassins.
Inessa would then finish flipping through the files before closing the folder than setting it back on the desk. Grabbing a spare piece of paper and a feathered pen that were laying on the desk, she begins to write a letter to the Brass Blades captain in charge of the investigation, saying that she would require a list of men who were allowed near her while Emily was still living.
"Brass Blade Captain Curt, I require three individuals below for an interrogation:"
With that, Inessa signs the letter, seals it into an envelope and walks up and out of her office to hand off the letter to a courier for delivery.
((Still more to come. Just going to fast forward time a little))

- David Epi - A merchant of some renown. Not old enough to hold a grudge against Emily's father. The fact that he could be a rival against her father is ruled out by the fact that David got his start as a merchant by the good graces of Emily's father.
- Takeshi Yori - A doman wanderer. Something akin to an adventurer, though he took a particular interest in the lady and as a result, has confined himself mostly to the Thanalan as of late. He might be departing soon with the lady's untimely demise so he will be first on the list.
- Marx Col - A strange named Elezen. Quite young and fair, though much of him remains in mystery. Most likely suspect to be the murderer if he is the one due to his unknown nature.
