That's really the challenging, fun PvE thing I do -- figuring out how to win fights when most would say, "Wipe it." Soloing the Chimera in Cutter's Cry is the classic one, but I've also tanked and soloed Titan Story as WHM and nearly beaten Titan HM from 10% as BLM using a gaoled DPS as my "tank." Four times now I've had to duo Fenrir using my puny BLM Physick.
Last night, doing Keeper, our healer and one of our DPS ate AoEs and died, and the other DPS and I almost took out the second dragon, with me using every trick in the PLD book and Stoneskin to stay up. We got him down to like 4%! We'd have had him too if an unfortunate sequence of AoEs hadn't taken down the last DPS.
One day, ice mirage dragon. I will take your head with no healer to back me up. *shakes fist*
