Start a 'Making Connections' Linkshell. It'd be people GENUINELY interested in helping new or shy rpers link up.... and then said new or shy rpers.
It'd be an OOC LS, where people could look out for each other; answer questions about rp, try to help people get established, and find each other based off of shared interests n such.
