I have a performance and anti-virus program I got on my machine shortly after I got it. It does a lot of neat stuff - declutters your hard drive, optimizes connection speed, checks the registry, and scans for viruses. Some time... last year? It... stopped working.
Like, the computer would say it wasn't on, but attempts to turn it on would pull up the webpage to pay for another year of service... even though I had plenty of time left on it. I basically gave up on it and forgot about it for the longest time.
Last night, apparently, it found an update and works again. Which is GREAT because of the lag and latency nonsense I've been having lately. I ran the full suite of functions before bed, so hopefully I'll be going home to a smoothly running machine with a non-laggy FFXIV to play.
