Yes, I know that the location wasn't the best spot to get a good screenshot of the two. But at this point, John was so afraid of the fact that he could see memories with his aether and he view it as stealing from the other person. But we now got a little plot going from Howl letting John see several certain memories. Eager to see where it goes from there.
