You want RP and are concerned with cliques? Look for the MSCRP tag. We will RP with literally anyone who wants to RP with us. We're small, we're bored, and no one likes us enough to form a clique with us. Just a disclaimer though: we tend to lend our RP to a sense of realism. We play dirty characters in dirty situations that aren't full of heroism and/or villainy. Just some dudes doing what they do. We aren't big on playing house or diving into Anime Friendship Adventure Town.
If that's not something you're interested in, keep on steppin'. Some people are into it, some people aren't, and we have thick skin. But we are here and we are open to RP with anyone who wants to try us out.
So now no one can say the RPC won't RP with new people.
The problem, from my experience, is:
1. Some RPers are, in fact, exclusive and elitist. Which is no good. Sorry. It's true. Cliques are totally real and they discourage RP in a lot of situations. Stop RPing in your house 100% of the time, and stop RPing in /party when you're in public. No one is going to murder you for RPing in /say on the heaviest RP server, you cowards.
and 2. A lot of new RPers walk into the Quicksand and emote paragraphs to Momodi and weird everyone out and then cry that no one will talk to them. Try talking to a person. I'd use an opening like "Hello" or something of that nature.
I'd like to add that I read no previous posts and was told about this thread by someone who gave me a brief synopsis of the problem. By brief, I mean "New RPers don't like that there are a lot of cliques." So, I hastily wrote this out in a sleep-deprived blur of apathy, giggling childishly to myself the whole time. It's 5:30 a.m. Read this, don't read this, no one cares. Night night.
