As it is with all dialogue in this game, much of Haurchefant's expressiveness outside of voiced cutscenes is still lost in translation to the vast majority of players.

But let's not confuse "enthusiastic" with "serious." Haurchefant is still deadly serious in the JP version of the game, he is just uniquely emotive. The fact that this was completely changed in the NA version for no apparent reason is kind of unsettling, and quite frankly - stupid. That is all I will have to say on the matter, however.
