What are you talking about? It's amazing.
It makes sense too, considering their style of fighting. Armored legs and hands with some shoulder protection.
The set for MNK's AF set aren't only sacred, but they're meant to have a practical use. The armor on the hands and feet are meant for the MNK to hit harder (and potentially capable of deflecting blows) than they otherwise would be able to if they didn't. The shoulder guards allowing for their primary form of engagement (shoulder tackle) to be even more painful than otherwise could.
