For a magic that's been buried in a tree and forgotten for 1,600 years and the knowledge of its continued existence has only been entrusted to about six very isolated families who live their entire lifetime out in the deep Woods... a lot of people in Eorzea sure do seem to know a lot about white magic's forbidden-ness ICly.
