Don't be shy about jumping right into the RP. We're a friendly bunch.  I played on Wyrmrest Accord, too, for a few months when a friend of mine coaxed me into trying RP in WoW (I had played for nearly a decade, but never RP'd) I can't say I really loved my time in that game's RP scene, but that was more because it was a massive shift from LOTRO RP, which is what I was used to.
