I think you missed the word "Direct". Direct assumes the role that there is none or very few changes in the name and relation to a person earlier in the tree to someone later in the tree. Anyway I'm going to ask my gran about if it's possible in such a large scale of time (Basing off HW detail, it could be thousands of years instead of just maybe a single thousand) since I think it would be best to ask a professional on the matter. The fact that such a job even exists is pretty surprising, tbh.
