Hello all!
Sorry this update came a bit late.Â

Episode 1.2 Clipped Wings:
The Adventurers, guided by Ser Martiallais of the Temple knights, traveled to Mor Dhona, in order to investigate reports of bandit raid. Soon after they arrived, reports came in of a fresh assault. The party hurried to the scene, where a grisly site awaited them, shattered wagons and ravaged bodies. A quick investigation lead Ginshaw to find tracks leading north, and Klyn, his sister, to calm down and heal a lucky survivor. Gathering this information they headed North to find the attackers.
Lieutenant Kale of the Bloodsworn, his professional ire stoked by the attack of a Ul'dah flagged merchant caravan, led the charge his Chocobo thundering far ahead of his companions. Soon they came upon a crashed airship and a ragged camp, but it was not the prey they seeked. Instead they were Garlean soldiers, stranded after their airship crashed into the earth.
Lieutenant Kale took no heed of their numbers, shouting war cries and taking multiple bullet wounds as he charged into the camp, locking himself in combat with their leader and providing inspiration to the rest of the party. Ser Martiallais and Dragoon V'aleera followed, engaging the enemy infantry while Ginshaw moved to attack an enemy medic who had been lurking behind to complete some nefarious task.
V'aleera handily dispatched her opponents, and though Kale was nearly over-matched by the Centurion he fought (almost losing an arm in imitation of his general), the quick arrival of Klyn was enough assistant to let him slay the man.
The blood on their swords was not even dry though before the camp rumbled and hissed with the sound of steam and steel. A rusted Magitech Colossus plodded over to them, swinging its blade with the force of many men. While their weapons proved ineffective against it's thick hide at first, they were able to overwhelm the construct's ill-repaired logic engine. They attacked ever more strongly against the stuttering device, until it lay motionless, steam hissing from half a dozen punctures. Two of the Empire soldiers did make their escape though, using the distraction of the Colossus to vanish into the crystal wastes.
A quick search of the camp revealed a precise logbook, and a Garlean Sensor system. The book contained dates, coordinates, headings and intensities of various events. Perhaps the Garleans were trying to find a comrade to take them home?
Ser Marti took possession of the logbook and the sensor, and the battered and slightly disappointed heroes made their way back to Mor Dhona.
