Shipwrecked Garleans - Anyone who participated in either of the first two events has earned a 'Minor Milestone', details of what this means for your character can be found in the Fate-14 main thread.Â

Items are what I'll be calling a class of objects in the Fate-14 ruleset called "extras". Essentially they are objects that give your character a stunt (or multiple stunts).
The first one is the Garlean Sensor System recovered from their crashed airship.Â
Standard Issue Aetherial Compass MkIV, Compact
This mechanical gadget is roughly the size of a large hardcover book, with a pair of short antenna that extend a fulm upwards when extended. The front is a series of dials and switches for setting the sensitivity of the device, with several spinning dials to indicate the readings.Â
This devices is a compact version of the device Garleans use to track various phenomena in their quest to save the world. Characters must pass a Lore Check of 4 in order to recognize and understand how to use the device, though any character with a background in Garlean technology would only require a 2.Â
The device gives the character a bonus to investigate objects with an Aetherial Signature, and allows their location to be found from malms away. The bonus given and difficulty to find an object based on its distance are listed below. You must have some idea of a target's aetherial signature in order to track it, may be handled on a case by case basis.
Large Signatures - Primals, Garlean Super Weapons, Great Drakes
+4 to Notice and +3 to Investigate
Medium Signatures - Airships, Magitech Walkers, Smaller Drakes
+2 to Notice and +2 to Investigate
Small Signatures - Mages, Linkpearls, Magical Creatures
+1 to Investigate
Difficulty based on Distance of Object
Within 10 Meters = 1
100 = Â 2
1000 = 3
10,000 = 4
100,000 = 5
