I'm new to FFXIV - I almost started playing at the ARR launch, but RL got in the way... then I read/saw Heavensward and couldn't ignore it anymore.
Looking forward to joining everyone on Balmung once I roll eight characters and pay for a server transfer XD

I'd like to aim for medium-RP... I do it for the extra dimensions it can add to the game and community, but I also have a deep-seated urge to tank things.
