Basically where we're at is that vampire legends clearly exist in the folklore, and they seem to be somewhat similar to european anime vampires.Â
Whether or not they actually exist is an open question, but the /legend/ of them does to some respect.
If you play some manner of character that sucks blood or drinks blood or needs blood to survive, calling yourself a 'vampire' isn't much of a stretch. Other characters would probably also call you a vampire, even if you'e not technically one.
