Miya was originally born under the the sign for Byregot, but with her affinity for the sea and her years of sailing she follows/relates to Llymlaen, the Navigator. By nature though, and like many sailors, she is more superstitious than religious and has her own private ways to revere her patron (like giving small gifts/etc to the sea for a safe voyage).
