I'm personally hoping for a Final Fantasy Tactics style twist. Something suitably bittersweet and tragic. I don't want Ishgard's culture to shift too much because I'd find that very boring. I'd love to see the poor attempt to rise up against the wealthy and be cut down in the process. Or better yet for the poor to be shown as misguided and selfish, lashing out at everyone who happens to be positioned on a higher rung of the ladder than they are. That would be far more realistic than them receiving a happy ending and equality.
