As a main PvE-er I'd much rather be able to use "Fire 1, 2, 3" etc, rather than the -ra -ja -ga suffixes. Also, like Kage mentioned, no one is going to want to re-learn rotation names this late in the game. Note that I am an old-school Final Fantasy guy, and I love the old incantations and spell names.
