Yeah, I do agree communication is important, I just feel bad breaking character to try to slow things down, but it has been the only effective manner when It's not my plot. Â Though maybe leaving a trail of breadcrumbs and giving less straight forward answers will help when people come to me, to slow it down. I'll give that a try.
