I suppose the first thing I would say is check out the [RP Linkskell & Free Company Lists for Balmung] for things that suit you. A Linkshell is like an in game chat channel and you can have 8, and a Free Company is like a Guild.  Also don't rush, there is a lot of game to play. Compared to other games I have played this one tends to suit one character learning all the classes rather than running many alts.
