This is what I wrote on my workplace's facebook wall.
Stuff to watch for that I know will be good due to watching way too much of this :
-Nocashnocash's FF4 no64 any% run : Great representative of the FF4 speedrun community and it closes out AGDQ. Those of you who don't know just how glitchy FF4 can be beyond the Item Duplication glitch will be shown quite a showcase despite it being no64.
-Yagamoth's Secret of Mana 1player2controller any% run : Smoothest voice on twitch, hailing from Switzerland, and holds the WR. (He also has a Goof Troop 1p2c any% run earlier in the marathon)
- TMR's Lion King any% Hard run :
Okay this is really just to see TMR struggle to not curse on camera as he has a real foul mouth.
- PJ/MechaRichter any% Insane Battleblock Theatre co-op run :
They ran 100% last year, but this portion of Team Poor Life Choices is always good for a laugh due to their chemistry. Stamper will be there like last time.
- MURPHAGATOR! doing Vendetta any% :
It's a dude speedrunning a brawler we have on the MAME cab in the breakroom. Character bid war means you'll see either of Mike Tyson, Hulk Hogan, Mr. T or Jean-Claude Van Damme.
- 4 way Batman race :
Probably gonna be better than Super Metroid anyway. Batman with a gun and better music.
- TMR's Battletoads run :
BLINDFOLDED TURBO TUNNEL INCENTIVE. C'mon man.
- The Whole Awful Games Done Quick block
I know of at least two (Lagoon and Escape from Atlantis) that are sure to delight with how bad they are and the people who run them being good entertainers. Especially Dragondarch aka the beard in Team Bearded Flex.
- zallard1/sinisterwon's Punch-Out!! runs :
Zallard destroys SPO in less than half an hour, then they have a blindfolded race.
- Bonus : Gyre's FF1 (Famicom) "run" :
Less a run than a 7 minute glitch. Spoiler : Chaos runs away from you, you win the game.
