This definitively looks like a fun and neat variation of the RP fighting tournaments that are around. I would definitively want to try it out!
Judging from the posts added, it seems an Arcanist or Summoner could pair up with its own familiar as a 'team', though I think I'd rather prefer doing it with someone else.
