Monthly update:
First off, thank you to everyone in the community who attended our events over the last month, especially our Spring Masquerade Ball. We continue to be humbled by the ongoing support of the balmung community and the popularity of our events.Â
This month our events will be fairly low-key as we are focused on free company exclusive events to help brings us closer as well to encourage more in-house talent. Never fear though we will be continuing to have weekly events available to the public including our cabaret.Â
We are now at fifty-three members but are hoping to continue to grow so we can continue bringing the public our popular events. The roles that continue to be in need are:
Performers: While we have many excellent performers perform at our events, including our popular cabaret, we are looking for in-house performers to entertain at our company events. Any sort of performer is welcomed into the staff of Menphina's Respite. In return, we can offer the opportunity to perform on a weekly basis, payment for performing at private events and the chance to become part of a friendly, mature free company that's supportive of the balmung performance community. We've also recently started fortnightly rehearsals for in-house performers to come together, exchange advice and help each other be the best performers we can be in a supportive, nurturing environment.Â
Host/Hostess: The Host/Hostess role continues to be essential in the everyday running of The Keeper's Kiss. Based on a combination of the western and eastern role of the Host/Hostess, they are often needed to entertain our random drop in's or attend to patrons during our events.Their duties include greeting patrons, serving drinks and generally interacting with patrons. This role does not include sexual services, such requests are to be passed onto Courtesans unless the host/hostess also works as a Courtesan. In need for event nights.Â
Courtesans: Sexual services. Clients are taken and charged at the courtesans discretion. Strong preference for Courtesans to interact with patrons at event nights.
General Staff: There are a number of possibilities for this generalised role including stylist, costume designer, Maid, masseur, chef or any other role that would fit in at a combined brothel-cabaret.
