Trained to do this from before she could properly read or speak, violence is Virara's "first language" and in much the same way as one colors all of her thoughts and interactions. The ability to take a life for reasons other than basic survival or sustenance is how Virara was trained to distinguish Spoken from non-sentient animals; to her the ability to murder, whether you elect to or not, but simply even having that choice, is what makes a human. If you were to take the opinion of certain others as fact, she was born with an inherent predisposition towards callousness and brutality, easily separating herself from her actions. This is only natural given that she was raised by a martial artist/assassin infamous in the underworld for her atrocities, and before that was a feral child with no concept of morals.Â
